With over 15 years of experience treating OCD, I focus particularly on "pure OCD" but have a solid understanding of all the different types. I earned my PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and have worked in a range of settings, from residential to outpatient programs. I'm also the Vice President of Fearless Camps and the Treasurer for OCD Wisconsin, where I helped create Fearless Family Camp, the first overnight therapeutic camp for kids with OCD and their parents. Plus, I'm active with the International OCD Foundation.
In my practice, I believe in working together with my clients, who are the true experts in their own healing journeys. I strive to provide a supportive atmosphere that empowers clients while using proven methods like Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and mindfulness-based therapies. My goal isn’t just to help you feel better but to foster self-compassion and tackle the guilt and shame that often come with OCD. No matter how long you've been struggling, if you're ready to put in the effort, I'm here to guide and support you every step of the way.
I'm dedicated to helping you take back your life and align with what truly matters to you.
Keri Brown, PhD
I bring nearly a decade of experience in treating OCD, anxiety, and depression across various clinical settings including; Rogers’ residential mood disorder clinic, Rogers OCD partial hospitalization program, and UW Health. I played a key role in establishing a local OCD clinic to enhance community support. I am an active member of the International OCD Foundation and the National Alliance of Social Workers, ensuring I stay updated on the latest research and best practice through ongoing professional development.
My holistic approach to therapy focuses on understanding you within your broader life contexts. I trust that you know what you need and I’ll aim to help you reconnect with that wisdom. We’ll use evidenced based modalities like Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Behavioral Activation, and mindfulness to reclaim your life. If you’re committed to doing the work, I will be a compassionate companion on your journey toward lasting change and a renewed sense of purpose and joy.
Together we will use effective strategies to access your inner wisdom and create lasting change.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with substantial experience in treating OCD and anxiety disorders. I am based in Illinois and am licensed through PSYPACT to do telepsychology for people in all the states that are members (see if your state has joined.)
I was trained in evidence-based treatments (Cognitive Behavior Therapy, specifically Exposure and Response Prevention) in graduate school at Rosalind Franklin University (formerly Finch University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School). I’ve worked for the past twenty years at all treatment levels (outpatient, intensive outpatient, residential, inpatient) providing evidence-based treatment for children, teens, and adults.
My approach is to work as a team with you to understand your unique story and how your OCD symptoms are impacting your life. Together we will collaborate on your specific goals and create a roadmap for you to learn evidence-based tools to manage your symptoms more effectively. I believe it’s possible to make sense of things, get relief from your symptoms, feel more fulfilled and improve your quality of life no matter what challenges you face.
I am here to partner with you in understanding your story and achieving a more fulfilling life.
